To foster the advancement of the Cambodian Muslim community, CATA has launched the “My Community Fund,” a fundraising initiative encompassing contributions from members, Sadaqah Jariyah (Donation), and Zakat to provide mutual assistance during community emergencies.
The “My Community Fund” is categorized into three distinct groups:
1. Supporting Members: These members generously contribute monetary donations, essential items like sardines, clothing, and other necessities unconditionally.
2. Active Members: emphasizing mutual cooperation, shared responsibility, and risk-sharing among participants.
3. Business Cooperative Members: CATA has proposed the business cooperative model among members, including concepts like Business Waft, to enhance collaboration and mutual support within the community.
